My Client Testimonials
I have some of the best clients in the world. Each one is amazing – changing and shifting, growing into a more confident and glowing version of herself.
I’m proud and honored to have worked with ALL of them. I have learned so much from each one. And I’m pleased that they have been happy working with me. Here’s what a few of them have to say:
Joslyn L, NY
A year into having started my own consulting business, following 10 years in public service and a 30-year career spanning motherhood, part-time and full-time employment, I was still grappling with my vision for my new business – did I want to go solo, build a team – and how to brand myself. At the same time, I hadn’t yet completed some of the many tasks that any new business owner needs to complete – articulate a mission statement, establish a brand, build a website, set fees, etc.
Diane coached me through a process of personal exploration that helped me fine-tune the focus of my business and ensure that I seized the opportunity of having my own business to do the things I wanted to do at this stage in my career. Her carefully sequenced, transparent process for guided self-discovery and gentle cajoling kept me on track and yielded the results I needed.
I chose Diane to help me through this period of transition not only for her coaching skills, but also because she brought years of business experience, in particular in marketing. I trusted that she would be able to help me arrive at answers to my questions and provide the technical guidance I needed for branding and website development.
Five years into my business, my work is expanding nationally, and I continue to refine my direction by periodically returning to the questions Diane posed earlier on. I also take advantage of her regular posts to do a little remedial self-searching and remind myself what I’m in this for.

At mid-life, I was burned out and very unhappy in the social services field. I wanted to explore options for a career that I would find more enjoyable and creative. I had never felt my career path was a very good fit and had paid a high price for that lack of fit. I had lost myself and wanted to feel more authentic in my work. I was too close to the situation and, honestly, the change felt too scary and big to take on without professional help.
Diane was incredibly flexible in focusing on what I needed when I needed it while working within a structure that grounded our work together. She was able to help me envision my dreams while also addressing the realities of my life. Diane gently held me accountable to reach goals I’d set even when it was difficult. In addition, she provided amazing support and encouragement.
Some of the results I got from working with Diane:
- Relief – to find someone whom I could trust to support me through this crisis. Very positive and non-judgmental.
- Validation & confidence – the exercises Diane used provided the boost in self-esteem I needed by going to the core of my values and dreams.
- Clarity – about who I am and my vision for the future.
- Concrete support –I was very satisfied with the resume Diane helped me develop apply to positions in different fields as well as how to use other tools like LinkedIn.
- Empowerment – I was able to see the strengths I could rely on; especially empowering was identifying my “value network”; I realized that there are many more people in my professional support network than I realized.
- Hope – Diane helped me find hope and enthusiasm for what’s possible that I hadn’t felt in years.
- A new job!! I was able to find a position that’s a better fit for me now with the intention of further working with Diane to move even closer to my dream career.

Diane coached me through a difficult time when a door that I didn’t think should close did, and another door had not yet opened. As we worked together she led me to an internal place where passion and vision can unite to produce useful work. Not satisfied with old scripts or blind optimism, Diane walked me through exercises and assignments to discover what I really want to do and how I might go about creating and finding such work in the world.
I now have all the consulting work I can handle and a rich and ever-developing artistic life! I feel poised to enjoy the rest of my work life and integrate it more seamlessly into other responsibilities and relationships.

I had been working as an event planner most of my career and was pretty burned out. I wanted to be outside more but was nervous about how to make a living that way.
Diane was a good thinking partner. I feel much more open. I freed up some blocks and have a new sense of possibility. I didn’t just banish my inner voices but started listening to them and with new confidence; I’m controlling and changing them.
Using Diane’s process had an unanticipated impact that was surprising and deeply convincing. All of a sudden everything was coming together. You think you know about yourself until you dig in and do the work, then you really know.
I don’t think I ever stopped to think about what my values were. Knowing them helped me realize how I needed to live and work differently. Now I have a vision of where I want to go in the future, a mission statement on how I want to live and I’m working through my career plan and getting my certification to become a landscape designer. I have an internship with a new housing development to create a few landscape design templates for new homeowners.

I worked in Manhattan for my entire career and wanted a change that included an easier lifestyle. I made the decision to move to North Carolina with no visible means of support…a big leap but one for which Diane helped me to prepare.
I had worked in a very insular professional community for over 20 years…an industry where everyone knows your name. As a consequence, I had never really thought about the particulars of my skill set and experience. Diane stressed the importance of not only evaluating my skill set, but also my goals. Clarity of purpose was the objective.
Jobs in my field are not plentiful in NC so great interviewing skills and a fabulous LinkedIn profile were vital. Diane asked insightful questions to help me clarify my capabilities. During our many conversations it became obvious that I really enjoyed mentoring young people, was highly organized and was able to think outside the box.
After several sessions with Diane I felt more confident in determining both my personal and professional aspirations. I am very happy to report that I now have a fabulous job in NC. My employer found me through my updated LinkedIn profile and after a single three hour interview I was hired and love my job!
Thank you, Diane!!!!
I would love to add you to this list!
